The water of lake Thun is very clear. When the wind is quiet it is easy to see each pebble under the surface of the water. However, when the wind grows stronger the water of this deep lake gets moved. It then becomes difficult to see what lies beneath.

Lake Thun is like a picture for our soul. Relationship problems, health issues, disappointments, exhaustion or losses can be compared to a wind blowing over our soul causing pain and confusion.

We have almost 40 years of experience as Christian full-time workers - a big part of that in Asia. We have gone through some terrible storms in our lives. But HIS Presence has again and again provided new perspectives and has brought healing and new vision.

We offer the following:

• individual counselling in our home in Gümligen (in Bern)
• a few days of guided silence, debriefing and reflection. We have inherited a holiday apartment above lake Thun. It is a lovely place with a tremendous view of the lake and the mountains. The serene beauty of the lake and the surrounding mountains it easy to enter rest.

As our guests share we listen and ask the Creator of Heaven and earth for revelation. Our greatest desire is that our guests may be able to discern what is going on under the surface, sorting things out and bringing them to Jesus at the cross. This often leads to a fresh encounter with HIM. When this happens waters are stilled.
